CHICKEN CURRY FILIPINO STYLE

INGREDIENTS:
3 TBSP. COOKING OIL
4 CLOVES GARCLIC MINCED
1 MEDIUM ONION
1 TBSP. GINGER CUT INTO STRIPS
2 LB. CHICKEN
2 TBSP. CURRY POWDER
1/2 CAN GATA OR COCONUT CREAM/ COCONUT POWDER
2 TO 3 PCS CHILI (OPTIONAL)
2 TBSP. FISH SAUCE/PATIS
MSG. OPTIONAL
SUGAR PINCH..
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

METHOD:

HEAT OIL, SAUTE GARLIC,GINGER AND ONION, AFTER FEW MINUTES ADD THE CHICKEN THEN SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL GOLEN BROWN, ADD THE POTATO AND CARROTS,.SIMMER FOR FEW MINUTES,THEN ADD PATIS , GATA, AND CURRY POWDER,, AFTER 15 TO 20 MINUTES WHEN POTATOES ARE TENDER TURN THE HEAT LOW AND PUT SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE, TURN THE HEAT OFF AND ADD THE CHILI..
SERVE HOT..
